Iconic 70's Kiwi Bach, (sleeps 6 indoors comfortably - see bedding configuration below)
7 kms from Whitianga town centre at beautiful Wharekaho/Simpsons Beach. 60m from beachfront, this 70's style north/east facing 2 level bach has a large flat grassy section (ideal for tents x 2 , boat parking or that backyard game of cricket) and great herb garden for BBQ-ing up a storm with your catch of the day!.
2 levels - Upstairs : 1 bdrm (queen), kitchen/ living area, bathroom ( toilet, single basin & shower) , deck, 6-burner hooded BBQ, outdoor dining table, umbrella etc.
Downstairs : kitchenette (no stove), living/dining,
1 x bedroom with queen & 2 bunks.
Pull out sofa (king single) in living area also available.. if needed although a little uncomfortable.
Bathroom with shub shower & separate toilet and laundry. A 2nd BBQ (lg hot-plate & grill) & an outdoor shower.
Sleeps 6-8 max (indoors) 2 bedrooms - 2 Q’s and 2 bunks (with pull out sofa/futon available in lounge if required) - nice flat, grassy section is suitable for 2 x tents also on the property if needed for a few xtra's (max tenting 4 persons)
Come to catch the sun, surf, fish, relax and enjoy the festive season at beautiful Simpsons Beach. Pantry is well provisioned with everyday basics, herbs, spices , flour, sugar etc and condiments, - just replace what you use.
It's your basic kiwi getaway - 70's bach - no frills-
but it will take the hard knocks and is pet friendly - although not fenced.
Simpsons Beach allows doggys over the holiday period - lead-free as long as they are off the beach by 9.00am until 6pm in the evening - when they are again permitted to return. (these restrictions run 23rd Dec thru to approx 10th Feb each year + any public holiday)
60m from the beach, large flat section ideal for tents x 2 with plenty of off-street parking for your boat & vehicles.
Please Note : Not really suitable for young children - being a 70’s build and "untouched" our balcony balustrade upstairs does not meet today's building code requirements - with 3 single slat-rails, - slatted and open, we feel it is not suitable for anyone with children under 8 yrs - due to the fact that younger children could easily fall/slip through the slat gaps . (See photo 3) property is also unfenced.
