Adventure Inn is a small backpackers which still has that custom New Zealand Bach (holiday home) feel to it!
Situated just 300m from the beach front, and 750m from the entrance to the National Park. We have 8 bed dorm rooms, so you can relax and have a bit more comfort with out the chaos of your big urban backpackers. Your host is an ex backpacker bus tour guide with great knowledge and a passion for tourism.
We have loads of communal spaces to be used already including:
Movie lounge
Pool tables
Dart boarts
Foosball
Table Tennis
Communal Lounges
Indoor and outdoor bbq table areas
Giant bbq area
Loads of outdoor grass space for sunbathing
Winter time we have two fireplaces and heat pumps in the bedrooms
We are a place to relax and unwind. We want to distance ourselves from the mainstream backpackers that encourage partying and drinking, our vision is to become a place of rest and relaxation, to unwind from adventures to and from the National Park which is at our doorstep.
We do allow alcohol on site but in limited quantities. We have noise curfews in place to ensure our neighbouring community also enjoys peace and quiet in our remote tranquil area. So if you want to get away from the bigger venues and find a place that is unique, a little quirky, yet clean, friendly and an atmosphere that creates a warm home away from home feeling then book a bed today! I suggest booking for three or four nights because once you get here you won't want to leave!

Kiwi Experience passengers looking at staying with us from Kaiteriteri, please be aware we operate a free shuttle, ONLY for passengers wanting to stay MULTIPLE nights ONLY.
[Please note this is a shuttle that only runs when the bus arrives in up until 8pm and also drops you back at 10am. Pick ups also available at 10.30am from Kaiteriteri if your first night is staying in Kaiteri]
We Close for Winter at of end of April and re open for summer October 1st!
