The homestead operates as a small horse stud and visitors will be able to enjoy watching horses and sometimes foals grazing in the surrounding paddocks. A 15 minute drive takes you into town past the polo fields and then out to Lake Karapiro towards Maungatautari Mountain. Easy access to The Velodrome and the Waikato cycling River Trail, makes the cottage a perfect location for a sporting getaway. The bustling rural town of Cambridge is an ideal stop over between north and south, with a vibrant cafe and restaurant culture. Hamilton and Mystery Creek Events Centre is a short drive along the newly completed highway.
