Newly refurbished luxury self catering three bedroom country cottage situated only two minutes from the heart of St. Andrews, the home of Golf! Sympathetically and tastefully renovated 1930's cottage with a high standard of finish. White Cottage brings the best of both worlds, being minutes from the bustling town of St. Andrews whilst having an idyllic rural setting. We purchased White Cottage in August 2015 and have gone through extensive renovations allowing us to offer this beautiful cottage for holiday rentals.
Sleeping up to 5, the accommodation comprises 3 bedrooms, 1 x Super King (can be made Twin), 1 x Double & 1 Single, a large open plan lounge/dining area complete with wood burning stove (logs supplied), newly fitted kitchen and a generously sized family bathroom. White Cottage is suitable for families, groups and golfing parties alike.
White Cottage is nestled within approximately 0.5 acres of private gardens mainly laid to lawn with established pine trees and superb views over the bay of St. Andrews. There is a childrens play area complete with a slide and two swings which is guaranteed to keep our younger guests entertained, a BBQ is also available for use allowing guests to make the most of the spacious gardens during the warmer months.
As well as being ideally situated for St. Andrews, White Cottage is also an ideal base for exploring the East Neuk of Fife, and beyond, and all it has to offer.
With White Cottage, we've aimed to create a true home away from home. Having stayed in several holiday cottages ourselves, with young children, we appreciate a well equipped homely property can make all the difference to your holiday.
The main open plan living/dining area is tastefully decorated with a bay window and the main feature being the wood burner. With seating for 6, the spacious dining area is a fantastic setting for family dining. The bookcase and armchair finish the room nicely.
The kitchen is very well equipped and finished with beautiful solid oak worktops.
The spacious family bathroom comprises a large shower bath with power shower, large Edwardian style sink, underfloor heating, large chrome towel warmer and demisting mirror.
Each of the three bedrooms are tastefully styled. All of the beds come with Orthopaedic mattresses and are medium/firm. Egyptian cotton bedding is used throughout. The master bedroom is generously sized with a large bay window and built in storage. The double bedroom has windows to the west and north and built in storage space. The third room is a generously sized single room with views to the south.
