Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: It is a perfect little space for a getaway to the islands. Very well stocked and attention to detail in a small space. There is a welcome package of tea, milk and biscuits which was thoughtful and the village shop and petrol station in about 100 yards away. The view over to the hills and Loch is lovely and as a "Southerner" hearing cuckoo's was just fab.

Negative: This is my opinion and might not bother others, however it does look a little run down. The patio area needed weeding, the gates were rusty. Also the step ladder does take a little getting used to, but is mentioned in the details so you are forewarned. It would have been nice to meet the manager, as I had a couple of queries but I understand they don't want to intrude on your trip and it certainly didn't detract from my stay. My biggest regret is that it's not available for my next trip! X
