Villa Valentina is set in its own grounds immediately looking out to sea and the Ionian. On an elevated position on the outskirts of the historical village of Ratzakli between the resorts of Katelios and Skala. Views from the balconies and terrace areas are breath-taking looking out to sea and the nearby island of Zakynthos surrounded by the turquoise waters of the Ionian Sea stretching across the horizon in front of you. To the rear there are olive groves and the mountains beyond with footpaths taking you to other outreaching villages.
Set in its own private and gated grounds, the closest neighbour being 200 metres away in the nearby village of Ratzakli, which also has its own café/restaurant, this is the perfect location for those wanting seclusion but still within a few minutes walk to Katelios and Ratzakli and a very short drive to Skala with its restaurants and shops.
The villa itself is built over three levels. The open plan split level living area has a fully fitted modern kitchen which is very well equipped with all the appliances and utensils you would need. There is also fine dining area with table and chairs. On this level is a very large luxury shower room and a large master bedroom with ample wardrobe space, dressing table, TV leading onto a large verrandah. A few steps (1.75 metres) from the dining area lead down to the lounge, which is on the lower level. This is comfortably furnished with large comfortable seatees and also has Satellite TV with most channels, full Wi-Fi, DVD player, games and books. This further leads onto a large covered patio with outside dining and large purpose built barbecue area.
Upstairs there are two further ensuite bedrooms with balcoines, (one large double and 2 single beds and the other room housing 2 single beds) one with en-suite shower room, the other with an en-suite bathroom with 3/4 bath and shower over. All of the bedrooms and the lounge areas have large patio doors leading onto either a terrace or balcony with table and chairs for you to relax and enjoy the views.
The landscaped gardens are mainly laid to lawn with plentiful flower beds containing a variety of shrubs and tropical plants and fruit trees (depending on the Season, we welcome guests to pick fruits and bananas). There is a separate garage in the grounds where you will find a washing machine, additional sink and beach umbrellas (buckets and spades for the children).
The large pool terrace with its private 11 x 5.5m pool and Roman steps is a great place to relax and unwind, with amazing views out to sea. There are plentiful loungers and tables, chairs and umbrellas here. The pool also has a hydrotherapy massage jet in the pool if you are not quite relaxed enough. There is a large covered terrace area poolside offering additional tables and chairs and steamers if you want to get some shade.
The villa is a family holiday home and therefore offers the guests more than what is found in a conventional holiday let.
