Single story house, with 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, spacious kitchen, dinning room and living room. The house is located on a beautiful hilltop with stunning views of the Poas volcano at the distance and surrounded by tropical and lush gardens. The house has a covered wrapped around porch with hammocks for guests to enjoy the biodiversity this place has to offer in a relax and comfortable atmosphere. There are patio tables around the house where guests can enjoy al fresco dinning. A myriad of trees among property including almond, orange, lemon, coconut, star fruit, rambutan, mandarin, mango, guava. Banana, plantain and pineapple are also grown on property. Exotic tropical gardens of bromeliads, succulents, hibiscus, palms and many more species surround the house. My husband and I fell in love with this property because of the amount of biodiversity it contains. We have identified over 100 bird species on property including the keel-billed toucan, fiery-billed aracari, collarred aracari, myriad of humming birds, red scarlet macaw and the great green macaw which is an endangered species. Also from property you can spot howler and capuchin monkeys, sloths and other species. We have a tremendous love and respect for this land and our goal is to protect and reforest it, to help conserve its richness of biodiversity. Since we bought the property in 2018, we have planted over 45 fruit trees and over 100 plants and trees to promote wildlife conservation, This is definitely a great place to enjoy the natural beauty of Costa Rica.
Our property is set on 20 acres of land including untouched rainforest, however our rental includes use of the house and the surrounding gardens only. Any other areas have restricted access. We have a land keeper who is in charge of the farm who resides
on property with his wife. They will welcome our guests. Any questions please do not hesitate to contact me as there are many attractions and things to do around the area and I will be more than happy to provide information.
We welcome long term rentals, please feel free to inquire. Our property is located near many attractions including Tirimbina, La Selva Biological Reserve, Pozo Azul (zip lining), Sarapiqui Outdoor Adventures, Best Chocolate tour, etc. There are restaurants nearby, we recommend Soda Marielos for authentic costarican food.
