Situated on the river side of Turangi, the point of difference with our place is there is space for everyone. The large separate lounge and dining rooms, spacious kitchen, generous sundeck, double garage and private back garden means your party can spread out and relax. Some can enjoy themselves on the deck while others can unwind amongst the fruit trees in the back garden. In winter there is ample heating with a wood burner in the sun room and an open fire in the lounge backed up by electric heaters for the kitchen and hallway and panel heaters in the upstairs bedrooms. Continuous gas hot water cylinder means you never run out of hot water. There is covered access between the house and the garage so you don’t need to get wet and all firewood is supplied and kept dry under cover. The garage has a table tennis table with bats and balls, a dartboard and darts and there is other sports equipment you can use – water slide, petanque balls, badminton set, rugby and soccer balls. The house is just 100 metres from the famous Tongariro river and walking and bike tracks are close by. Whakapapa ski field is 40 min drive away, hot pools and lake access just 5km distance.
