Nethy Bridge (the Forest Village) is a quiet yet vibrant village in a beautiful setting within the Cairngorm National Park only 12 miles from Aviemore. The village has a 9-hole golf course, tennis courts, village shop and farm shop/butchers. There are a few restaurants offering evening meals for those nights you don’t want to self-cater with more options available in nearby villages. The famous ospreys at RSPB Loch Garten are a short drive away as is Landmark forest adventure park in Carrbridge and The Highland Wildlife park outside Kincraig. Mountain biking, hill walking, climbing, skiing, fishing, watersports and more are all on your doorstep in the Cairngorms National Park. A range of whisky distilleries and the beauty of the Moray Beaches (including some dolphin watching potential) are also within an hours drive.
Osprey House is a spacious 4 bedroom lodge and is extremely well equipped with wifi, dishwasher, washing machine and all the mod cons you would expect from a quality self-catering holiday home. The house is suitable for visitors with limited mobility (with downstairs bedroom and shower room). It has its own private and peaceful tree garden which is complemented by a large lawn and south facing patio and is regularly visited by local wildlife including birds and red squirrels.
