Designed by Michael Cooper Architects this original worker's cottage has been completely renovated and extended to create a sunny, light-filled 4-bedroom executive home.
As you enter the property the character of the original building is on full display. The long hallway tracks along polished floorboards and up to high ceilings. At this end of the house you find a full master-suite complete with walk-in wardrobe and private bathroom. There are two further bedrooms (complete with Queen beds) and a fourth, final bedroom, that can be configured as either a SuperKing or 2 x Singles. Rounding this half of the property off is an exceptionally large family bathroom and a separate toilet.
As you walk towards the rear of the property the hallway leads you over an 'air-bridge' which separates the original home from the new extension. Providing a shot of greenery as you transition from the tranquil bedrooms into the open plan dining and living room.
This entire space is an entertainers dream. Immediately to your left as you enter is a kitchen sure to keep any chef happy and while they are busy creating? ... take in the views from the sun-filled wrap around deck or from one of the lounge areas.
Every aspect of this property has been crafted to the highest standard and is sure to impress.
Guests have full and private access to the entire house, with the exception of a sectioned off and locked portion of the garage. There is a large garage with internal access plus an additional park on the property.

I’d want to take advantage of the amazing kitchen at this residence every night of my stay, but if you tire of the Poliform excellence of a chef’s kitchen it’s good to know Ponsonby Road is just 7 mins by Uber. No doubt you’re staying here for a concert or other event but there is more. Motat (Museum of Transport and Technology) and the zoo are only a short walk and Eden Park is 10 mins drive. For breakfast, bring back fare from the excellent Westmere Butchery for a memorable experience at home.
Located immediately adjacent to this building is a second, completely self-contained building, that is also available for rent. Please view our other listings should you wish to book both at once.

- No visitors. This means that only the exact guests who are booked to stay can be at the property at any time. Failure to adhere to this rule will result in you being removed from the property immediately and all costs associated with this will be on-charged. If you are wishing to have guests visit you when at the property please get in touch with us prior to your booking as we can make the odd exception on a case by case basis.

- Check in is from 3pm.
- If you are taking the property for longer than two weeks, the owner requires a clean at least every two week period. This amended cleaning charge will be sent through to you once we have received your booking.
- If you lose the key / key fob / swipe card / garage remote a replacement fee will be charged.
- For any lockouts, the guest will be charged a service fee for re-entry and in some cases a locksmiths fee.
