Set on the top of an eleven acre site with rolling pastures and mountains surrounding the place, The shipping container is close to 3 different Vermont Ski and Ride mountains in the winter, and is the perfect landing spot for mountain biking, swimming, fishing and hiking in the warmer months. Sugarbush, Mad River Glen, Killington, Pico, and the Middlebury Snow Bowl are all a 45 minute or less drive from this mountain retreat. In the summer months, neighboring cows can be seen grazing the pastures beyond.
Guests will enter through a mudroom large enough to hold all the clothing and gear necessary for our variety of weather. Inside the shipping container, guests will find a quaint, but versatile kitchen area and cushy banquette seating for eating and gathering. Large picture windows and a sliding glass door frame the views to the mountains beyond. At the other end of the container home, a queen bed beyond the privacy of an armoire is ready for restful nights. The home's bathroom off the bedroom features a refreshing steam shower with light shows and bluetooth music within. The home is set on a large, roofed concrete pad that gives plenty of covered outdoor space to relax in, as well as a fire pit in the yard beyond for nighttime enjoyment.
