From the front of the property the southern entrance to the beachfront is about 200m down the hill, where you can enjoy safe swimming at all tides from the shade of a large Pohutukawa tree. Or you can proceed less than 200m in the other direction to the end of Rapata Road, where there is a lookout over the Bay and a walking track down to the rugged coastline.
On a mid-year getaway to the Winterless North, electric heating will ensure you're kept at the perfect temperature.
