3 Bedroom Ski Chalet in Castle Hill
Thanks for looking at my house.
You will be cosy and warm upstairs with a brand new 6.3kw heatpump and a wood burner to heat the living and dining/kitchen area.
Downstairs, due to the design of the house (what was the architect thinking?) in the bedrooms you will need to keep the doors closed and the panel heaters turned on to keep the bedrooms toasty. Beds all have electric blankets too if you require.
I request people respect my house and leave it as they find it.
If you do want to rent it then I will give preference to mid week and multiple day rentals.
If you are a younger group then I need to be convinced this will not be party central with the resulting damage.
If you are someone not familiar with cold temperatures, I need to know you know how to read instructions on water systems and light a wood burner without setting the carpet on fire.
If you have very young kids you need to ensure they wont fall down the stairs!

3 Bedrooms. 2 with queen beds and 1 with 2 king singles. Separate sofabed and 2 single mattresses as well.
House completed in 2005.
Fantastic area for skiing at Craigieburn, Broken River, Cheeseman or Porters in the winter.
Summer boating and fishing on Lake Lyndon - 10 mins drive away, fishing in the numerous streams and rivers, or on Lake Pearson. Arthurs Pass only 30 mins drive away with the numerous walks and hikes in the national park available from there.
Unbelievably good mountain biking with several tracks that climb out of the village up onto Long Spur and link to the Hogs Back and onto the Dracaphyllum flat track near the Cheeseman Rd. World class beech forest riding in the Craigieburn and Broken River area, all within a few minutes drive.
Cave Stream only 5 minutes down the road, explore underground and do the 'right of passage' trip through the cave.
World class bouldering at the nearby The Castle Hill/Kura Tawhiti limestone rock formations.

Please respect the fact this is a much loved and used family holiday house. We want you to enjoy the house and environment also leave it in good condition for the next people coming through.

- Pets at owners discretion, just ask - (definitely no pets on furniture or bedding!)
