Afton is a detached bungalow, all on one level, and offers top class accommodation throughout. With quality fixtures and fittings, guests will find the property welcoming all year round. The spacious living room is well presented with patio doors leading to the front garden. Dewar’s Whisky Distillery can be reached from the footpath at the side of the house, so you can enjoy sampling ‘the water of life’ without having to drive. Aberfeldy offers fine independent shops, galleries, cafés, excellent places to eat, a deli providing fresh local produce, an award winning book shop and a community run cinema with a regular program. There is a vibrant live music scene with events such as the Highland Games, Aberfeldy Festival and Etape Caledonia Cycle Event. The River Tay runs through the town and guests can enjoy leisurely strolls along the riverside, white water rafting or fishing, with permits available locally. There are outdoor activities to suit all tastes in this area with a putting green and golf course, gentle walking and cycling, hill walking, mountain biking, water sports or boat trips on Loch Tay all available to try.
