The port town has a vast mangrove swamp, a great sports fishing platform, and a spectacular silver-colored beach. The beach features a point break that breaks to the left and right in a gnarly fashion at a river mouth over a sandy bottom. The area is under the protection of the government so it is largely undeveloped.
Playa Herradura's beaches, Los Sueños Golf Club, and fishing opportunities are all a short drive from this home. The heart of Jacó is a little further from the house, with the famous shops, restaurants, and nightlife of Pastor Diaz Avenue.

This vacation rental is close to a beach and a short drive from a mangrove swamp. As such, raccoons, small crabs, and other animals are likely to be in the area.
