The largest of the three ‘Mains Cottages’ Mhairi’s Cottage is great for families, sleeping four people in two separate bedrooms. With colourful décor and lots of amenities in walking distance, guests will be in the perfect spot to soak up the best of the beautiful and diverse Kintyre Peninsula.
Inside, the living area is very generous, and has a wood-burning stove, television, wi-fi, and plenty of books and maps to browse through – great to help you plan your trips out and about.

The bedrooms are well furnished with plenty of storage space, the master having a double bed and the second bedroom having two bunks.
Outside, there is a patio area to sit out on, which is safe for children. The view from the back door looks over the fields to Carradale Bay - a south facing bay with golden sands, a popular summer swimming spot!
Private parking is available not far from the cottage.
Locally, guests can enjoy all the peace of the country and yet the perks of the community close by – situated mid-way between the two ends of the village, the cottage is surrounded by forest and farmland, yet within walking distance of the volunteer-run village shop, local restaurants, the golf course and even the beach.
