Ideally located for touring this beautiful area, Mellanby is just a stone’s throw from the Solway Coast where you can explore some of the stunning 200 miles or so of coastline, dramatic cliff top walks, secluded little bays and sandy beaches and delightful little coastal villages. With many and varied attractions in the area you will be spoilt for choice, from interesting historical sites throughout the region, supreme mountain biking at the world renowned 7Stanes at Mabie, to challenging hill walks and some of the darkest skies in the world. Just along the road at Powfoot, golfers will be in their element on the 18-hole links/parkland course.
