Enjoy miles of stunning, dramatic coastline, with secluded little bays and sandy beaches; historical buildings; splendid National Trust Gardens and supreme mountain biking to more challenging hill walks. A meander round the picturesque little villages or Rockcliffe and Kippford, with their breathtaking sea views, is a must. Or for a day trip, take a 5-minute drive to the train station at Lockerbie, heading out along the west coast main line. The area really has something for everyone!
