Visit Ardnamurchan Point with its lighthouse and visitor centre and explore the white sandy beach at Sanna Bay; the magnificent setting of Castle Tioram and the Ariundle Oakwood National Nature Reserve. An abundance of wildlife can be spotted including whales, dolphins, otters, Golden and Sea Eagles and not least the pine martens and badgers - the next door neighbours. A car and foot ferry to Tobermory on the island of Mull operates from Kilchoan. The Isles of Skye, Rum, Egg and Canna can be reached from the fishing port of Mallaig. A superb area for walking, fishing, biking and a variety of watersports. Excellent shop and cafes at Salen; 5 miles. Restaurants and pub at Acharacle; 7 miles.
