The Minnow is a small and sweet Cape cottage that was built in the 1940's as officer's quarters for Camp Edwards. It has been in the same family since it purchased from the army in the mid 1950's and has seen generations of family members for summertime fun ever since! This adorable 2 bedroom home is the perfect place to enjoy all Falmouth has to offer with friends or family.
The Minnow can accommodate 5 people with 1 double bed and 1 queen bed in each bedroom. The enclosed front porch also has a twin sleeper sofa. The cottage itself is charming and thoughtfully designed with antique and nauticaltouches. We've created a casual space for you to feel at home, inside and out – cook dinner and sit outsidein the patio to take in the salty air, make memories around the fire-pit while you make s'mores, or relax indoors in the cozy living room and enjoy the 50" smart TV ready for you to sign into your own streaming accounts. Open the windows and feel the summer breeze or turn on the central AC to cool off after a long beach day. The layout includes a galley kitchen with stove, full fridge, dishwasher, a dining area, living space with sectional couch and accent chair, a bathroom with stand up shower, 2 bedrooms, and a lovely front porch.
Beach access to our scenic neighborhood beach is a .5mile walk to Bayside Drive. Larger town beaches are a 5-10 minute drive with paid parking. Bring a kayak or canoe and launch from our neighborhood landing, or launch your larger boat at the marina down the street. We are a quick 10 minute boat ride to beautiful Washburn Island and Waquoit Bay, or a 20 minute boat ride to Martha's Vineyard. Take a short walk to the Point at the end of Seacoast Shores and take in Vineyard Sound at sunset – it doesn't get better!
Set amongstother humble summerhomes, you'll drive down our dirt road and see The Minnow – a private gravel driveway and our shingledcottage smattered with pink sea roses. Our house is the second to last home before the water's edge. Our backyard is fully fenced in, so we are happy to accommodate families that are bringing along their fur babies.

•The Minnow is 1 house away from the water and is not a waterfront property. We have quick access to our neighborhood landing to launch kayaks, and our neighborhood beach is a short walk down the road. Guests can see the water's edge from the property.
•We are a dog-friendly rental and provide a fenced in yard, dog bowls, compostable bags for pickup while on walks, sheets to cover the furniture, and a guidebook to things to do in the area with dogs. Please note that many of the beaches on Cape Cod are not dog-friendly in the summertime, but we do list our favorites on Cape that are!
