What is also really favourable about this location is the fact that you have in walking distance from this property Daisy Bay and Calm Bay to name a few along with the famous Te Araroa Walkway which takes you to the longest footbridge in the southern hemisphere heading towards Whananaki South. Matapouri Bay, Woolley’s Bay and Whale Bay are a small drive away too and it is convenient to travel the country road through to Whangarei City within 30 minutes or take the Coast Road on the tourist route North.
Sleeping 12 persons in this spacious two-storied modern beach accommodation with a full sized kitchen, large fridge with separate fridge/freezer, two dish-draw dishwasher, modern kitchen equipment including Nespresso coffee machine to kickstart your mornings off nicely.
Configurations downstairs are x1 double room, x1queen room with separate bathroom with toilet and shower. A large deck overlooks this popular beach off the open plan lounge, dining and kitchen area. Out to the side, is a wrap around conservatory which not only keeps the heat in on those cooler days but also keeps the wind out making it a nice spot to relax in. There you will also find a second toilet and shower. Webber BBQ will be ready to use with gas provided.
Upstairs consists of x1 queen bedroom, x1 queen bedroom and x1 double bunk room. Please note the bunk room is only suitable for children and teenagers and can sleep four comfortably.
The outside area has stairs and decking capturing the sun and views both coastal and rural. Although we don’t allow tents, once in the gate you can utilise the flat grass area. This is a shared driveway with a neighbouring property so we ask that all guests please make provision at all times for access not to be blocked. We are sure that you will have plenty of room to park your cars or boat.
You may be at times welcomed by the owners Ian and Aly who will host you nicely into your accommodation and provide you with information about the property and the area while still giving you your privacy. The bed linen configurations are supplied up at our discretion based on the number of people booked. Double, Queen, King beds will be automatically assigned to 2 adults unless otherwise advised by you at the time of booking.
If you require any additional linen changes during your stay then this will incur extra costs as per our terms and conditions.
The Tutukaka Coast has so much to offer with a short drive to the renowned surf beach Sandy Bay, Woolleys Bay, Whale Bay and Tutukaka or commonly known as “Toots” by the locals is the place to launch your boat, wander the shops and cafes, or catch a dive expedition to the Poor Knights Islands. Further on from Tutukaka is Ngunguru, a seaside village on the estuary with a well-stocked superette, hairdresser, beauty therapist and takeaways, golf course, sports complex, cafes.
