Our One Family Retreat Home is privately positioned in a picturesque area of Margate, bright and sunny with floor to ceiling windows that takes in the sensational ocean and mountain views. The upper floor features a spacious open plan living and dining area with a lovely leafy outlook. The home boasts a home gym with rowing machine, table tennis, treadmill, boxing punch bags, etc, covered outdoor family dining terraces, and a full set of YAMAHA Sound system for ultimate relaxation.
The Space:
Flooded with light and warmth this architecturally designed home is both stunningly beautiful yet brilliantly functional and would suit a family wishing to immerse themselves in the casual laid back lifestyle so often desired and sought after in today's demanding and challenging times.
On the upper floor, you will find one full-sized master ensuite, two private and good-sized guest bedrooms, all with natural lights, and built-in wardrobes, serviced by an extra guest bathroom with a separate bathtub and shower.
The well-appointed kitchen adjoins the open plan living and is stacked full of excellence, with plenty of storage, quality appliances, and contemporary finishes.
You will have access to laundry with a washing machine and dryer, outdoor covered terraces with BBQ, a somewhat full-sized home gym, and partially fenced backyard, unlimited WiFi, an indoor fireplace, a hammock, etc for that extra bit of relaxation.
You are only a few steps away from your morning coffee and within walking distance of all the local shops, parks, schools and all that Margate has to offer. All this and only a 20min drive to the Hobart CBD. It is only a stroll up the road to the North West Bay Golf Club and a very short drive into Kingston Shopping District. Heading south you have the Channel train, the popular Brookfield Shed, and the lovely Margate township and shops.

Our garage has been turned into a home gym, hence no undercover parking.
You will have the entire place, keep in mind we do have another cottage house at the rear which is available for other guests. You only share the driveway with them ( if occupied )

The home will have some part of the driveway shared with the studio at the rear. Guests would have separate access to your premise. All cars are to be parked in front of your own house.
the gas bottle is provided. But if it runs out, you can get the refill in any patrol station nearby(about 7 min driving)
Our environmental sensitivity in the area must be respected. No rubbish is to be spilled, bins must not be allowed to overflow. The truck comes early on Friday morning and bins must be out near the letterboxes ready to be collected at that time. The yellow bin is for recycling, and the green bin is for general rubbish, please make sure you are using the number 75 bins!
