Enjoy a cosy winter getaway. Sun-filled home, access to Lake Rotoiti & shared jetty. Equipped with full kitchen, lounge, TV, Wi-Fi, garage, outdoor seating & with abundant birdlife in nearby trees & lake, it's the perfect retreat for nature lovers & outdoor enthusiasts. (no lake views from house). Popular activities in the area include hiking, walking & bike trails, whitewater rafting & kayaking, boating, fishing, ziplining, visiting hot-pools & the Okere Falls Store & Beer Garden.
A beautiful cosy space, freshly renovated space. Entrance is through the outdoor/indoor patio lounge, which leads into the main house with an open plan kitchen and lounge, two bedrooms and bathroom. Double glazed windows throughout most of the main house. From the patio head outdoors onto the deck, with outdoor dining area and an another covered space with a woodfired oven. Separate to the house is a large garage which can be used to store toys and outdoor gear.
Water supply is by rain water, stored in the large green tank and filtered with a UV system. Being rain supply, if its a long hot dry summer, guests should be considerate of water use.
The house is on a shared driveway with two other houses, which also have use of the jetty. Its generally a super quiet area and really has the feel of being away at the bach, quiet and relaxed.
There is an small urupa (cemetary) next door to the property which you will see when you walk down to the lake and jetty
