Geraldine is a great place for a family holiday, retreat from the city or as a stopover on your way to Mt Cook and the Southern Lakes. Four ski-fields within 1.5 hours drive. Cafes, wine bars, bakeries. Food tasting at Barkers' fruit processors, chocolate shop, Talbot Forest Cheese all nearby.. Bush walks, salmon and trout fishing. Swimming and picnic spots in river that runs through town and nearby gorges. Variety of arts and crafts and sudios. Vintage car museum. Two golf courses, tennis courts, children's playgrounds, heated swimming pool (November- March). House is 2 minutes walk from town, river and bush walks. Sunny and warm. BBQ and outdoor area. Well equipped including children's toys. Double garage.
