180 degrees of waterfront with stair access down to the water. Five minute walk to private neighborhood Beach and 1.5 miles to downtown Wareham.
Wareham is situated before the Cape Cod bridges- described as “the gateway to the Cape” - you avoid the bridge traffic coming in and leaving but you have quick access to other Cape towns for day trips. This home is 10 minutes drive to famous Onset beach, a public town launch about 1 mile away, and has quick 5 minute access by boat to Buzzards Bay.
Master bedroom includes a new hybrid cool sleep adjustable frame queen mattress. 2nd bedroom has a new full-size memory foam mattress. An additional twin size window bed offers a wonderful reading, sleeping or napping option with amazing views. The kitchen is fully remodeled and well stocked with everything you need to create your own fabulous fare. The main bathroom has also been fully remodeled and includes a large step in shower and full-size washer- dryer.
Rental includes a crab/fishing net and a fishing rods. With potential to catch stripers, blue fish, flounder and blue crabs right off the seawall. If you enjoy conch, at low tide you will often find live conch on our beach, and potentially oysters, clams, and scallops.
Open the plentiful windows on this cottage and enjoy the cool water breezes. On those 100-degree high humidity days close the windows and turn on the A/C unit to keep cool.
There are numerous breweries (try Treehouse Brewing Company in Sandwich, Vitamin Sea & Mayflower Brewing in Plymouth, Devils Purse in Falmouth!) and wineries nearby. There is also great local dining in downtown Wareham or take a short ride to Onset & Bourne area for additional dining options.
CLEANING/LINENS:
All cleaning will be in accordance COVID cleaning protocols. Linens, quilts, towels, and 4 beach towels are provided and sent out to be commercially cleaned between rentals.
PET POLICY: (1) Pet limit please.
We welcome well behaved dogs under 30lbs - must be pre-approved by owner
