Summary: the agent running the property insisted on meeting us at the airport even though we requested he didn’t. We are very familiar with the airport and area roads so did not need an escort. So I was left to make small talk with him and his wife whilst the rest of my party did the car admin rental. After a sleepless night I could have done without.. that’s my gripe over. Our property was exactly as described. Every thing was brand new . The owner had left lots of little treats for us including home made cakes and biscuits. Both bathrooms were provided with enough toiletries and paper. The bed in the main bedroom was comfortable but my son found his a bit hard, he did get used to it and certainly slept well. I personally would have liked a mirror in my bedroom. The kitchen was very well equipped and like the rest of the property had plenty of storage space. We did find the lack of table knives a bit odd but as we ate out most evenings it wasn't a problem. When booking the propertyiI hadn’t noticed that cleaning service wasn’t provided which involved several text to the agent. It wasn’t to big a problem but it would have been good to have information as to where to dispose our waste. Also a lack of information regarding emergency numbers ie nearest Drs pharmacy etc.. Our owner was so lovely and kind we could not fault him, he gave us lots of little gifts such as his home grown strawberries and wine etc. He didn’t speak much English (still more than out Greek) but he was very friendly introduced us to his friends who all chatted when ever we met so we felt very comfortable. We have no issues with the property and would certainly go back, first week was very quiet but we did have noisy neighbours across the road which impacted on our enjoyment of sitting out enjoying a glass of wine. We loved Lygaria , a small resort with just one shop & two restaurants, vey much from away from it all but enough to meet all our daily needs. I certainly will recommend this property. Just a short non hilly walk to the beach .. the back veranda had a view looking up to the hills behind and we enjoyed watching the goats crossing over every morning. Lovely sound bleating and bells. So much nicer than yapping dogs which we did have to endure some of the time. Quite frankly we were so chilled out it went over our heads. Thank you Giorgos for all you did for us and making us so comfortable. We had a great holidays day
