Cottage "M" is designed for a large family or a group vacation. Starting with an open concept kitchen/dining/living area with a gas fireplace on the first floor and entertainment room on the lower level. Enjoy a glass of wine in our wrap around screened in porch, while you gather with your family or friends for a "Pure Michigan" evening. Enjoy the private hot tub and an outdoor shower to rinse off right out the back door. Just steps away, you can access the community pool – but not too close so you can relax on the front porch while enjoying your favorite beverage in a quiet setting.
As you enter the house, you will find a large dining room table with comfortable seating for 8. The gourmet kitchen is to your left that includes additional seating at the counter and top-notch appliances with lots of cabinets and counter space. Virtually everything you need has been thought of. Off the kitchen, you will find a living area that includes a large Sony TV and gas fireplace with comfortable seating to gather with family and friends.
A powder room, office area, and large master bedroom with cozy bedding and generous closet space, is also located on the first level. The ensuite master bathroom includes a double sink and a steam shower - an added bonus for sure!
Downstairs is where you will find a large entertainment area with a family room and Sony TV with more comfortable seating to gather. Why not enjoy a game of pool or play games? It’s a perfect spot for both. This room is a warm, cozy area to gather on a rainy day or a cold winter night. On the same floor, there is a large queen bedroom with plenty of closet space and an ensuite bathroom with double sinks, and a shower/tub. The laundry room equipped with a Samsung washer and dryer is located on this level too.
On the second floor, you will find 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. The first bedroom is beyond large and includes 2 full beds and a large closet with shelving. The second bedroom has a queen bed and a spacious closet also with shelving. The hallway bathroom includes a shower with double sinks. The second floor also includes a loft space.
The attached garage is all yours for your stay and you can easily park two more cars in the driveway. Also included in the garage are beach chairs, beach wagon, two bikes, paddle board and paddle board trailer, 4 pickle ball rackets and spike net. So much fun awaits you.
Cottage "M" is just a short 5-minute walk to Starbucks, Stray Dog, Casey’s, Brewster’s…. and don’t forget the magnificent Lake Michigan beach. Our location is ideal in so many ways. Just an hour from Chicago by car or Amtrak (the stop is just a few blocks away). Hop on a shuttle to Four Winds casino or a short drive to the Outlet Mall. Also, Harbor Country has so much to offer-boating on Lake Michigan, swimming at the beach, biking, touring wineries and microbreweries and playing a round of golf at one of the magnificent golf courses close by.
