It’s perfect for a sum-mer holiday in Wanaka – go for a bike ride along the lake tracks, then cool off with a swim at the beach out front before heading inside for dinner and drinks. The property is two storey, with the living area on the first floor enjoying those beautiful lake and mountain views. Relax on the couches with a wine and watch the sun set over the mountains to the west, or enjoy breakfast at the breakfast bar while watching the first eager boaties getting out on the lake at first light.
The property is decorated with rugs, throws and artwork all the way from India, selected by the own-er on recent trip overseas. It has three bedrooms, all with super king beds, with two rooms that can be split into twin rooms. One of the bedrooms is situated downstairs, with a tiled shower room easily accessible. There is also another living area downstairs, with a TV and small dining area – perfect as a children/teenager hideout. The remaining bedrooms are upstairs, sharing a bathroom and powder room. In this bathroom, there is a beautiful curved bath tub looking right out at the view – the perfect place to relax and enjoy a soak after a day skiing, hiking, biking or exploring! A double gar-age downstairs offers plenty of storage for the toys. The minimum stay at Lakeside Shangri-La is 4 nights.
