Travel Purpose: business

Positive: My wife and I stayed for 2 weeks. The cottage is on a country lane with occasional vehicles passing though most of the time it is quiet. Mostly cars, bicycles and tractors. There is a large garden with , at the moment, lots of flowering shrubs and plants. There is a plum tree (probably Victoria) by the back door with a good crop that should ripen in a month - approx. The garden has occasional visits from hares and just about every night a badger visits. Bring a bag of peanuts, some sunflower hearts and some fat balls for the bird feeders. A couple of handfulls of shelled peanuts strewn on the grass brought the badger to visit us. There are several museums, art galleries and gardens to visit in the locality and there are walks that can be done direct from the door.

Negative: Nothing really that would detract from our enjoyment of the holiday. We had a lovely time.

Summary: We'll be back!
