Gibson Cottage was built by one of Nelson's first settlers, John Gibson in 1843. It has been beautifully restored and is a very comfortable and wonderful place to stay for up to 6 guests. It is private but close to neighbourhood amenities of an excellent coffee shop, dairy, acclaimed Nelson's waterfront restaurants and Nelson's best fish and chip shop. It is also less than 2 minutes walk to Blackmore Cottage if you have friends or relations staying there. A 10 minute flat walk to central Nelson or the Trafalgar Centre or the Boat House.
