Summary: We arrived at noon time in Ft. Lauderdale and a quick uber ride to the hotel in Hollywood, Florida. We were greeted at the desk and was told our room would not be ready until 4:00 pm because they were cleaning it. No problem, I would prefer to wait and walk into a clean room! We walked into our room and never smelled any type of cleaning products. The drawers holding the silverware and pots and pans are disgusting and have never been cleaned. The sliding glass doors in the living room and bedroom were loaded with fingerprints and smudges. The curtains at the bottom are black with dirt. The cabinet that the microwave is in was never cleaned because the previous guest left their potato chip bag in there. Had the cleaners opened the cabinet and cleaned the microwave they would have noticed. With one of the towels we wiped the floor and the towel was black with dirt. The cabinet under the tv was loaded with dust and had never been cleaned. The blankets on the beds looked as if they had never been washed. The dishwasher did not work. The refrigerator is new but the blue tape that is used when shipping was left on and the refrigerator was never cleaned. The freezer had something that spilled and was never cleaned up. Very disappointing!
