“Whanarua Villa” Is a classic 1900’s Villa which over time has been renovated. There is enough space in this home to share with friends and family catering for up to 12 people, but please take note there is only one bathroom.
The three bedrooms are very spacious, and the lounge is off to the left of the kitchen which has a closed woodfire that is welcomed in winter.
The kitchen and dining area is well equipped and overlooks the beautiful gardens surrounding the property. There is a nice indoor-outdoor flow from the French doors in the dining that open out onto the sheltered Verandah. This is a great spot to sit and enjoy a beer and barbeque with friends and family.
The grounds are spacious with loads of room for games such as cricket and hide and seek.
Whanarua Bay is just down the road and is a great place to enjoy picnics at the beach or go fishing from the rocks. If you have a boat… bring it, there is plenty of room for parking and you can launch from Te Kaha or Waihau Bay which is only a 15 minute drive down the road.
Cellphone coverage is now available in this area and Wifi is available at the property. The owners also welcome pets but please keep them outside.
Guests will need to collect the key from 38 Church Street Opotiki within office hours. If arriving outside office hours or travelling from a different direction guests will need to contact Bush to Bay Holiday Stays for further instructions.
Check in is from 2pm- ID and Credit Card details are required on Check In.
