Summary: I had a few issues with my stay, the main one was with check-in. I messaged the evening before arrival to inquire about an early check-in and was told they will try to accommodate me. The next morning, when I arrived in Manchester, I rang them and asked again and they said to give them an hour and they would have a room ready, so I made my way to the hotel. However, when I arrived, there was no room ready and I had to wait 2 hours in the reception area for a room. This was highly frustrating. Apart from that, the room was very clean, the breakfast was fresh, but there were a few maintenance issues; one of the two lifts was out of order so for a building with so many floors, having one lift added delays each time. When I went down for dinner, I was told there was an issue in the kitchen and they were not serving food (so I could not use my 20% reduction voucher). The Jacuzzi in the pool area would not come on and didn't see any button to press. Watch out for the 4pm check-in and 11am check-out. This is a development which I don't find fair on customers.
