About the property
Chapel Cottage is set in the grounds of a peaceful and beautifully wild 400-acre estate on the west coast of Scotland. It used to be the chapel house of the original 19th century estate and has been sympathetically renovated with luxurious interiors throughout. Sleeping eight guests in two double bedrooms and a third bedroom with four single beds, it's perfect for a family or a small group of friends. Gather together in the inviting living area, get cosy by the fire, enjoy a BBQ, or venture for a walk in the woodlands and wilderness of the estate grounds. It's the ideal setting to reconnect with your loved ones.
The space
Design-led, luxurious interiors run throughout this charming cottage, which has a comfortable and homely feel.
At the heart of the cottage is the large living room. With an open log fire to light on cool nights and dual-aspect windows looking into the private gardens, it's a very welcoming place. There's also a Smart TV with Freesat, plus there's WiFi , to keep you entertained in the evenings or on rainy days ‘at home'.
Meanwhile, the open-plan kitchen/dining room has a fully-equipped kitchen with an electric oven and induction hob , a fridge and a freezer, plus an adjacent dining area with a table with seating for eight guests.
The cottage sleeps eight people in three bedrooms. There are two double bedrooms on the ground floor, each with a king-size bed, one with an en-suite shower, WC and sink, and a large family bathroom with free-standing roll top bath and double shower close to the other king-size double bedroom.
The third bedroom is an attic room (with restricted head height) with four single beds. The bedroom is served by a bathroom with roll top bath with a hand-held shower attachment.
You'll also have access to a private, enclosed garden with seating, as well as a BBQ hut which is shared with the adjoining cottage.
If you need more accommodation, the adjoining cottage sleeps two guests, should you wish to book both.
Guest access
If you arrive before 19:00 the owners will meet you on arrival. Otherwise, there is a key safe where you can access the key to the lodge for a self-check-in.
