A visit to Cascade Brewery is a must and just 3 minutes by car, or a 25-minute stroll from the home. Near the Brewery you’ll find Cascade Female Factory, a historically significant site to learn more about Tasmania’s female convict history.
The popular Rivulet Track is only a few minutes’ walk, where you can wander through parkland by the water, or visit Fitzroy Gardens, also just minutes from the front door.
Bus stops are just metres from the doorstep, and run regularly to take you into Hobart or the local South Hobart attractions. If you feel like stretching your legs, Hobart’s CBD is just a 25-minute walk.
Hobart offers so much by day or night with an ever-expanding hospitality scene of restaurants, bars and pubs. Enjoy the weekly Salamanca Markets or a visit to the famous MONA museum, via ferry from the wharf.
Getting Around:
Use the well connected Metro Tasmania bus services to get you around town with a bus stop right out the front of the property which will take you into the heart of Hobart's CBD.
Neuron and Beam Scooters are available to rent via apps, as well as Taxi’s and Uber, or you can rent your own car.
The popular Rivulet Track is a scenic, leafy track which can take you either directly into the CBD or up to the Cascade Brewery. If you are lucky you may even spot the illusive platypus!
