Positive: This is a really great lodge in a beautiful and peaceful location with just about everything you could need being provided for you. It is very clean and the whole place is well stocked with towels, kitchen equipment etc. We were provided with good clear instructions prior to arriving on how to check in and where the lodge was located. The hot tub is great and the views of the lake are stunning. There were a couple of issues but nothing major. The dishwasher did not work. We reported this but it did not matter to us as we weren't doing any cooking at the lodge however if something is advertised you would expect it to work. We also received a guest manual via email which said there were instructions on how to use the hot tub in the guest folder in the lodge, however there was no guest folder. We asked about this and were told to use the manual that had been emailed. The hot tub was straight forward to use but again the information should be clearer. The key box was stiff and got stuck a couple of times. We would suggest putting a table on the decking to be able to eat outside. The biggest issue we had was checking in and out times. Check in isn't till 4pm and check out is 10am. I am sure the lodge would not take six hours to clean. It would be nice to have a bit longer there and not have to wait so long to check in or rush out the day you leave. We were reminded a few times to check out in good time which felt a bit much. Overall this was a fantastic place. We had a really great time and would definitely return here.
