Squirrel Cottage is a lovely modern one-bedroom cottage sitting proudly on an elevated position enjoying breathtaking views over Loch Earn and the surrounding hills, located in the heart of the stunning Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. This cosy cottage is one of two cottages found close to the owner’s house and set in 20 acres of lovely woodland and countryside and a short walk from Lochearnhead village.
Badger Cottage can be found next door and is slightly larger than Squirrel offering two double bedrooms. Both can be booked offering a great holiday for couples, a group of friends or two families. Both Squirrel and Badger have been furnished with a lovely modern fresh feel, and are the ideal place to come, relax and recharge whilst enjoying some of the most beautiful Scottish landscapes and nearby picturesque villages. Finished to a high standard and lovely quality furnishings you will love sitting by the wood burner reading a good book and chilling catching up with your favourite boxset on Netflix.
Whilst staying here you have the added benefit of access to the private pier and beach down on the Loch which can be reached via the front field. Special fishing permits are also available. The cottages are surrounded by wildlife, including red squirrels, pheasants, deer, a pine marten, and many different types of wild birds. Perfect spot for walks and cycling. The picturesque village of Killin is less than 15 minutes away and Edinburgh and Glasgow can be reached in less than 1½ hours.
