Flagstaff Estate boasts six bedrooms with room for up to 19 guests. Our indoor heated pool and hot tub can be enjoyed all year round by kids and adults alike, and the sprawling grounds with private tennis court are sure to impress. Enjoy the afternoon sun on the private covered outdoor deck, while sipping a local Tasmanian wine or having a BBQ. Just next door are the Meehan Ranges with access to bushwalking and fantastic mountain biking tracks. With an abundance of wildlife such as kangaroos, wallabies and birds, it really is a special place to stay in Hobart.
Inside the property you'll find a fully equipped chef's kitchen, ideal for catering for large groups and a dining space with room for all your guests. We've also got the option to add on an in-house chef experience for groups wanting to celebrate in style and enjoy the very best in fresh, seasonal Tasmanian produce. Contact us to learn more!
The lounge room is expansive and has all the mod cons you know and love, including 65" TV, Netflix, Chromecast, Amazon Prime, Nest Speakers, and Youtube Premium. In winter, enjoy curling up next to the cosy woodfire and good book.
You'll find 6 bedrooms inside the property, with large wardrobes, underfloor heating, ceiling fans and luxury linen. There are 3 bathrooms available for guests and a laundry with industrial washing machine and 2 dryers. This house has everything you could possibly need for a luxury group stay in Hobart.
Guest access
As a guest of Flagstaff Estate you will have access to the entire house located on the upper level, comprising of 6 bedrooms, large living room, kitchen and dining, 3 bathrooms, laundry facilities, and exclusive access to the indoor heated pool and hot tub. There is a private covered outdoor entertainment area with BBQ and tennis court for your exclusive use. Our caretaker lives onsite in a separate, private residence on the lower level of the building. It is not interconnected in any way.
There is a separate fenced event area that contains sheds, a bar and other equipment at the rear of the property that is not to be accessed by guests and is private property. If you are interested in booking this extra space, please get in touch with us via our website.
Other things to note
Guests will need to climb 5 stairs to access the property, or utilise the ramp available. Once inside, the house is all on one level.
We are pet-friendly! Just let us know about your furry friend at the time of booking so we can assess if the space is suitable for them. Only 1 pet is permitted during your stay, and please note our pet fee is $150 per booking to cover excess cleaning. Please be aware you may not leave your pet unattended at the property and your pet is prohibited in the pool/spa area. Please be respectful of our property and the local wildlife - keep your pet leashed when outside and dispose of all waste in the rubbish bin.
